I have been writing since I was in middle school. One day I decided this was something I wanted to do, so I reached out to some friends and there it was.
Fiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer?
I don’t consider myself a writer. I consider myself a storyteller. Storytellers throughout our histories have been people of kindness, wisdom and faith. They help us explain and examin ourselves. I hope my books help others through things in life.
Fiona: What inspired you to write your first book?
My inspiration has always been my family. My parents and my siblings have always shown me, if I can put my mind to it, I can d anything.
Fiona: How did you come up with the title?
It kind of fell into my lap. I was trying to find something old but new and it just said hello there world this is me!
Fiona: Do you have a specific writing style? Is there anything about your style or genre that you find particularly challenging?
I don’t have a specific writing style. I write what I hope will help others. Myself included.
Fiona: How much of the book is realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
All stories are based a little on someone’s truth. It is what helps make them relatable.
Fiona: To craft your works, do you have to travel? Before or during the process?
No, I don’t travel. I mostly am at home with my dog and my family.
Fiona: Who designed the covers?
I have a couple of wonderful designers. V Designs and Teiple Witch Graphics!
Fiona: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
That faith in yourself is worth more than anything.
Fiona: Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest? Who is your favorite writer, and what is it about their work that really strikes you?
KC Morgan. Her book is amazing! I love it! I also love Serena Nova and Bo Reid’s books. Both have characters that are relatable and crazy fun.
Fiona: Do you see writing as a career?
I would love to make writing a career. I don’t know that at this time it is feesable but I am hoping to get there.
Fiona: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
No I wouldn’t.
Fiona: Did you learn anything during the writing of your recent book?
