Let’s get you introduced to everyone, shall we? Tell us your name. What is your age?
My Name is Alex Jo Haber, age 23.
Fiona: Where are you from?
Malta, which is an island in Europe.
Fiona: A little about your self (ie, your education, family life, etc.).
I work at a school doing standard office stuff, I have one sibling a sister and currently single and live with my mum and sister.
Fiona: Tell us your latest news.
When I became a male legally.
Fiona: When and why did you begin writing?
When I was eight and, the reason is that I’m dyslexic.
Fiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer?
When I won my first writing competition.
Fiona: What inspired you to write your first book?
My first book is the only book I’ve published, and this book all started because I felt like I couldn’t voice my feelings.
Fiona: How did you come up with the title?
I know this might sound weird, but I felt like writing to my own life.
Fiona: Do you have a specific writing style? Is there anything about your style or genre that you find particularly challenging?
LGBTQIA+ and writing a full-length novel.
Fiona: How much of the book is realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
A lot of it, it’s very raw.
Fiona: To craft your works, do you have to travel? Before or during the process?
Fiona: Who designed the covers?
A photographer, a friend of mine, and when I re-designed myself.
Fiona: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
The pain that transgender people like me have to go through.
Fiona: Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest? Who is your favorite writer, and what is it about their work that really strikes you?
My best friend, Neville his writing is just honest and pure.
Fiona: Outside of family members, name one entity that supported your commitment to become a published author.
Most of my friends.
Fiona: Do you see writing as a career?
Yes and no, I love to blog, and I do it every day, no, because I do write but differently.
Fiona: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
Yes, the writing mistakes and I recently did fix them.
Fiona: Did you learn anything during the writing of your recent book?
I did learn more about who I’m as a person.
Fiona: If your book was made into a film, who would you like to play the lead?
A trans man.
Fiona: Any advice for other writers?
Just do it, I believe that there is no right or wrong in writing.
Fiona: Anything specific you want to tell your readers?
Read my book as if it was your life.
Fiona: What book are you reading now?
American Spyby Lauren Wilkinson.
Fiona: Do you remember the first book you read?
Not really, but something my mum read to me for sure.
Fiona: What makes you laugh/cry?
Books and stories.
Fiona: Is there one person, past or present, you would love to meet? Why?
Addison Moore, Lily Zante, Anne Stone or Stacy Claflin. I just love their writing style.
Fiona: Do you have any hobbies?
Blogging, watching YouTube, hanging out with friends and digital art.
Fiona: What TV shows/films do you enjoy watching?
Queer Eye, Pose, Northen Recuse, 911, The Good Doctor and My Big Fabulous Life.

Sushi, Blue or Orange and Pop

Blog and Read.

Spend it with family and Friends.
