Let’s get you introduced to everyone, shall we? Tell us your name. What is your age?

M.Robinson and I’m 33 years old.

Fiona: Where are you from?

Fiona: A little about your self (ie,  your education, family life, etc.).

I have my master degree in psychology.

Fiona: Tell us your latest news.

Lost Boy, my next standalone contemporary romance releases July 24th.

Fiona: When and why did you begin writing?

Almost 6 years ago and it was because my husband said I should try to write a book.

Fiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer?

After I wrote the first sentence, “This isn’t a love story but a story about love.”

Fiona: What inspired you to write your first book?

I wanted to write something that could actually happen in real life.

Fiona: How did you come up with the title?

My husband.

Fiona: Do you have a specific writing style? Is there anything about your style or genre that you find particularly challenging?

I write high angst!

Fiona: How much of the book is realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

A good portion are things that I have experienced, heard or seen.

Fiona: To craft your works, do you have to travel? Before or during the process?

Yes. Traveling helps A LOT!

Fiona: Who designed the covers?

Rebecca Marie.

Fiona: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

It’s not about the story, it’s about the journey.

Fiona: Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?  Who is your favorite writer, and what is it about their work that really strikes you?

Pauline Simmons is my favorite author.

Fiona: Outside of family members, name one entity that supported your commitment to become a published author.

My best friend Jettie Woodruff was like my mentor.

Fiona: Do you see writing as a career?

Yes. I’m in it for life.

Fiona: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?


Fiona: Did you learn anything during the writing of your recent book?

Yes. I learned that I can’t write normal size novels.

Fiona: If your book was made into a film, who would you like to play the lead?

Depends on the book.

Fiona: Any advice for other writers?

Just write.

Fiona: Anything specific you want to tell your readers?

I love you.

Fiona: What book are you reading now?

Not reading anything currently.

Fiona: Do you remember the first book you read?


Fiona: What makes you laugh/cry?

Movies and songs.

Fiona: Is there one person, past or present, you would love to meet? Why?


Fiona: Do you have any hobbies?

Spending money. On anything.

Fiona: What TV shows/films do you enjoy watching?

Shameless! I’m obsessed.

Fiona: Favorite foods, colors,  music?

Pizza, pink and white, house music.

Fiona: Imagine a future where you no longer write. What would you do?

Cry. A lot. The voices in my head would drive me insane.

Fiona: You only have 24 hours to live how would you spend that time?

My husband and family.

Fiona: What do you want written on your head stone?

Don’t think about stuff like that.
