I began writing several years ago because I had stories inside of my that needed to be told.

I saw a scene in a dream and knew that I had to put those characters on a page for others to know.

Fiona: How did you come up with the title?

My recent title came from the creator of the cover. J.M. Walker is amazing!

I tend to write with my heart while incorporating whatever sarcastic remark or comedic joke comes

Fiona: How much of the book is realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

Most of the story is fictional. There are some scenes that were based on situations I personally dealt with or observed.

No, it’s not something that I have to do, but I’ve picked up things during my travels that I utilize in my stories.

Fiona: Do you see writing as a career?

I do see this as a career. I would love to get to the point where my writing supports me.

Fiona: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

No, I’m actually simply thrilled with the outcome of Max and Deck’s story. I had so much fun writing their story.

Fiona: Did you learn anything during the writing of your recent book?

I’ve learned that I am one that needs to allow my characters to lead me when I’m writing. I refuse to force the story.

Fiona: If your book was made into a film, who would you like to play the lead?

I would love to have Jason Mamoa and Jennifer Lawrence would be my choice of leads.
