Let’s get you introduced to everyone, shall we? Tell us your name. What is your age?  

My Name is: Diana Mugano.


Fiona: Where are you from?

London South East


Fiona: A little about your self (ie,  your education, family life, etc.).

Was raised with two strong parents who believe working and education is a must, and i  hold a degree and currently pursuing a MSC in cognitive behavioural therapy.


Fiona: Tell us your latest news

I have relesead my 3rd book titled: 7 Pillars that set great achievers apart

Fiona: When and why did you begin writing?

Started writing back in 2013

Fiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer?

When i first published my first book

Fiona: What inspired you to write your first book?

To help people and just a passion of mine


Fiona: How did you come up with the title?

My first one i just thought about it after i graduated whilst doing fulltime job and fulltime university and my 2nd one i just figured out that retirement is not a subject people talk about and i just wanted to encourage people that retirement will come before you know it so preparation is paramount and my 3rd one i looked at successful people in the world and find out that most of them failed before they become successful and thought i should put it into a book to encourage anyone who might want to give up after one failed attempt.

Fiona: Do you have a specific writing style? Is there anything about your style or genre that you find particularly challenging?

Motivational is my style that i understand better and i believe everyone of us need some boost at some point in life.

Fiona: How much of the book is realistic and are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

I think and believe every book is realistic depending on what you get from the craft.

Fiona: To craft your works, do you have to travel? Before or during the process?

Not necessarily but if i need some rest i might just travel to get fresh mind.

Fiona: Who designed the covers?

My covers are designed by Scott Gaunt absolutely professional i admire his talent.


Fiona: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

Never give up!

Fiona: Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?  Who is your favorite writer, and what is it about their work that really strikes you?

Leo Babauta is one of my favourite author and his books mainly the one titled ‘Focus’ i believe for anyone to achieve anything in life you have to be focused.

Fiona: Outside of family members, name one entity that supported your commitment to become a published author.

My family were supportive but in different way so i will say all of them.

Fiona: Do you see writing as a career?

I definitely see it as a career of mine.

Fiona: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

Not really, i believe they are good enough on their own right.

Fiona: Did you learn anything during the writing of your recent book?

I definitely do, mainly when you get feedback from your fans you want to make the next book as good as possible.


Fiona: If your book was made into a film, who would you like to play the lead?

Umm….i guess Sylvester stallone.

Fiona: Any advice for other writers?

Take time and don’t neglect editing and book cover.

Fiona: Anything specific you want to tell your readers?

Focus is the key.


Fiona: What book are you reading now?

Not at the moment for im working on my 4th book.


Fiona: Do you remember the first book you read?

Yeah…poor dad-rich dad.


Fiona: What makes you laugh/cry?…

Any comic makes me laugh and injustice makes me cry.


Fiona: Is there one person, past or present, you would love to meet? Why?

I would love to meet the queen of England, so she can tell how she handles pressure with such grace and integrity.


Fiona: Do you have any hobbies?

Cooking, decorating and travelling.


Fiona: What TV shows/films do you enjoy watching?

All UK Soaps i think they are the best.


Fiona: Favorite foods, colors,  music?

Chicken, blue and gospel music.


Fiona: Imagine a future where you no longer write. What would you do?

Umm…probably cheffing.


Fiona: What do you want written on your head stone?

Someone who never gave up….hustler!
