Am in the process of writing the third, and final book in the trilogy. Out of the Dark Trilogy

 

 
Fiona: When and why did you begin writing?

I actually started writing November 2014 and released the first book July 2015. Had always wanted to write but life kept getting in the way.

 

 
Fiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer? 

At the age of eleven

 

 
Fiona: What inspired you to write your first book?

To honor my son’s life, and the love I have for male models

 

 
Fiona: Do you have a specific writing style?

Erotic Romance

 

 
Fiona: How did you come up with the title? 

The way I was feeling at the time

 

 
Fiona: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp? 

That even in your darkness moment you can still find love, and come out of the dark.

 

 
Fiona: How much of the book is realistic ?

Fifty percent of it.

 

 
Fiona: Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?

Yes

 

 
Fiona: What books have most influenced your life most? a mentor?

No certain book to many different ones to name. My mentor was actually my son.

 

 
Fiona: What book are you reading now?

Marley by Lesley Jones who is my favorite author.

 

 
Fiona: Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?

Fiona: What are your current projects?

Finishing the trilogy, then starting a stand a lone I have outlined already.

 

 
Fiona: Name one entity that you feel supported you outside of family members.

Fiona: Do you see writing as a career?

Yes

 

 
Fiona: If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?

No

 

 
Fiona: Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?

Have always had a very active imagination.

 

 

Fiona: Can you share a little of your current work with us? 

The trilogy Out of the Dark is about a twenty three year name Alexis Moore who witnessed the murder of her parents, and only brother who was her best friend, her hero. The killer was her ex boyfriend, so at his trial she was the main witness. She then moves twenty eight hundred miles from Seattle Washington to New York city. She lands at job at the Harlow talent agency where on her first day at work meets the world’s top paid male model Aiden Steffan who is twenty eight years old, and Italian. She falls hard, and fast for his charming ways. She soon learns he deals with his own demons.

 

 
Fiona: Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing? 

The characters won’t let me sleep. I wake up in the middle of the night with new, and different scenes.

 

 
Fiona: Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work? 

Lesley Jones is my favorite author without a doubt. She can really draw you into the story. She can make you feel what the characters are going thru.
Fiona: Do you have to travel much concerning your book(s)?

Will actually start traveling Feb 19th to Houston Texas for an author signing. Then a few more times later this year.

 

 
Fiona: Who designed the covers? 

Margreet Asselbergs who is also an author besides being a cover artist.

 

 
Fiona: What was the hardest part of writing your book? 

When she had to relive the death of her parents, and her brother.

 

 
Fiona: Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it? 

Yes. That it takes a lot of hard work, tireless nights, and a lot of marketing.

 

 
Fiona: Do you have any advice for other writers? 

To never give up, and to be able to accept rejection, but still move forward.

 

 
Fiona: Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

Buy my books. You will love them.

 

 

Fiona: Do you remember the first book you read?

Gosh no.

 

 

Fiona: What makes you laugh/cry?

My grandkids make me laugh, and the loss of my son makes me cry the most, and knowing I will never get to see his shy smile reserved for me only.

 

 

Fiona: Is there one person pass or present you would meet and why?

Lady Diana, because she didn’t care if you were rich or poor she just saw the good in people. She had a good, and caring heart.

 

 

Fiona: What do you want written on your head stone and why ? 

Want to be cremated.

 

 

Fiona: Other than writing do you have any hobbies ?

Just hanging out with friends, and family.

 

 

Fiona: What TV shows/films do you enjoy watching?

Blue Bloods.

 

 

Fiona: Favorite foods / Colors/ Music

Pasta, purple, Cold play, and One Republic.

 

 

Fiona: If you were not a writer what else would you like to have done?

Act.
