Fiona: Tell us your latest news?

Shantee’:  I started Posey Parks Publishing. I just released the first installment of Samantha Posey: Love Unfolded Samantha Posey 2 is in the editing phase. I just started writing Samantha Posey book 3.

Fiona: When and why did you begin writing?

Shantee’:  I’ve always been a journal writer just writing about my life. I found out early on I have a wild imagination and a friend of mine always wanted to hear my stories. Later I entered a writing contest in my senior year of high school and won. My teacher told me I should be a writer. I tried keeping up with writing while in college. Got discouraged by a friend and am still sitting on that story still till this day.

Fiona: When did you first consider yourself a writer?

Shantee’:  When I started Samantha Posey Love Unfolded. The difference this time around is that I refused to give up. I wanted my story to be heard. When my business partner and editor was in the editing process she told me she had to make herself stop reading the book and focus on editing. Also letting people at work read snippets and they really liked it too and couldn’t wait for the book to come out. I then knew this book is great!

Fiona: What inspired you to write your first book?

Shantee’:  I thought about a party planning character and said let me see how much I can write. This was around Thanksgiving 2014 and when I started writing I couldn’t stop. This book contributed to so many late nights!

Fiona: Do you have a specific writing style?

Shantee’:  Yes freestyle. I think up the character and build as I go in my head. No Outline I just write. I’ve always written over the years but I never finished the stories. The book starts out like a movie in my head and my writing has to kind of catch up with it.

Fiona: How did you come up with the title?

Shantee’:  I love the name Samantha. My very first book is about a character named Samantha Gramm. So I like to tell the story about a strong woman and build my characters around her. So her name is Samantha Posey and it’s about her love unfolding.

Fiona: Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

Shantee’:  Stand up for what you believe and never give up on love.

Nicki looked at Holly when she said it.

“Holly I’ll be right back,” says Jacob.

“Nicki we can talk in my office.”

What happened to Samantha and don’t give me that bull shit she drowned she’s a fucking avid swimmer,” she shouted.

“Damn it Nicki alright! Samantha and I were assassins and we were activated this last time without our knowledge. Our dads did this to us since we were ten.”

Nicki sat down in the chair.

“That’s why she can’t leave you alone,” said Nicki.
